Jennifer Gerics
Before I began freelance writing, I was employed in the health and public service fields for more than a decade, particularly as a registered ultrasound technologist. I have since downshifted and now do work from home, as well as volunteer hours at my local library. I have recentIy become a contributing writer for the national magazine New Mobility (my first article will appear in their January 2009 issue.) I am also a health topics contributor at South Jersey Mom, with my most recent article about breast cancer appearing in their October issue (page 13.) And I've started my own MS website, www.msstrength.com, with the intention of providing information and support to fellow patients afflicted with this disease.
Here are some quick links to my Suite101 articles:
- General Health Suite: more than 100 articles about women's health, neurological health, and healthy eating
- MS Suite: I have lived with multiple sclerosis for more than 10 years, and I have created this section for MSers and their families
